Make Some Room Out Back

...for Jordan, dropping in to join Jay, Kerri, wee Dallas, and Charles Gnarles at the King compound in beautiful Blackstock, ON. The Alcatraz Army's ranks continue to swell in a swell fashion. To celebate, here's a top level quote (from a man who is quotable daily) from Jay King:
"It's the 'betcha can't eat just one' of dancing."
(Outlining the merits of the lo-gravity twinkle-toe sideways mongoose groove through the pool of the mighty Villa LaJolla, Nosara, Costa Rica.)
Where are we gonna put all these gawl-durn BABIES?

Look, Here Comes Something.

Summer in Canada is here - or at least we saw her drive by, looking for the right address. She's just gonna pop it into a 3-point and make it back our way any moment.
Let's not complain about weather not being perfect. The sudden spring seems to make folks forget we rocked gloves and toques 30 minutes ago, when our lives were pressed under the thumb of frost. Get out there! Throw the disc, play with your kids in the yard, fire up the coals, get out on the water, take a walk, put something in the ground, and give the indoors a rest - it'll be there when we really need it. Some things I'd like to do this summer:
SAIL TO TUGBOAT WITH DAD AND SOPH
HAVE CURRY WITH OLIVER ELWOOD
TALK AND PLAY WITH ETHAN
HOLD JUDE
SIT AND CHAT WITH MY MOM, HOLDING HER HAND
SEE MY OLD PAL MIKE AGAIN
CRACK MY SISTER UP
GO TO THE BEACH WITH SOPH, MITCH, TINA, AND FINLAY
PLAY MUSIC WITH TYLER
SKATE WITH WREN AND MITCH
WATCH SOPH AND RUBY LAUGH TOGETHER
SEE MOTO AND LEX
WATCH ANGUS DO A RIDICULOUS TARZAN DIVE AT STURGEON POINT
CAMP WITH SOPH AND ARCHIE
HAVE A FEW TOO MANY DRINKS ON A SUNNY PATIO WITH CORY
HEAR NIGE AND FRANKIE MOCK EACH OTHER
LONGBOARD WITH CJ aka CHICO
SWIM AT RCYC WITH SOPH
BARBECUE AT THE HOME OF THE PANKRATZ FAMILY WHILE WATCHING THE SUN SET ACROSS GEORGIA STRAIT.

Do something new this summer. Do fun things. Posted by Picasa

Egad - Rad Dad!

Another Stewart...
A special dedication to our good friends and perpetually young funsters Rusty and L-A on the arrival of their second little one, a lovely little girl, Taylor; born April 9th. Good people making good people... I like it.
Can YOUR dad do fully tweaked Japan Airs on a longboard with soft Kryptos?

Taylor, welcome to One Of Canada's Most Awesome Families. Soph and I look forward to meeting you! Posted by Picasa

A Time Out

Bliss. The sonic accompaniment to this visual: birds, softball, the occasional thump of trainers, and the distant, droning, surging wheeze of Manhattan's 'breath'... it's humanity and industry joining in a soft, thunderous, deep, delicate chorus. Rad spot.

Given Some Gibson

Last night was Seattle's own Supersuckers at Lee's... CowPunk pioneers that are keeping the Rock and the Roll (barely) alive. They've been in and out of style more times than white belts and high-fives. Hard to tell what their status is at the moment - easy to tell that they're not very worried about it.
Les Paul Goldtop, Les Paul Sunburst Custom, Les Paul Studio, Les Paul bass.
I say MORE Paul.
A loud good time. They said some swear words too.

Relaxing Afternoon For Well-Worn Feet

Here's Soph re-connecting to her Hell's Kitchen days... beers, bliss, and a phantom meowing 'cat'(?) at Rudy's, NYC.

Will Somebody Please Tell Me Just What The Hell Is Going On Around Here!?!?!?

I'm fairly certain that you all entered wearing shirts. Get comfortable; the Gator Run is under way. We've got 45,000 American cheese slices to get to The Hawaiian Punch 400, and Sherriff Robinson's just about got his cruiser out of the creek and his hat dried out.
HIT IT!
